The experience of Haykel Nefzi, former student of the Anti-Money Laundering Master and MBA
A dual path of specialized studies that led him to work at the main European office of MoneyGram International: Haykel Nefzi, in fact, completed both the MBA and the Master's in Anti-Money Laundering and is tangible proof that the right education increases your chances in the world of work.
What is your role in the company you work for?
I'm a Partner Servicing Specialist at MoneyGram International, covering the Italian, Central, and Northern European markets. I work in Warsaw, at the company's main European office, and I'm responsible for maintaining relationships and providing assistance, particularly with accounting, to corporate partners.
How did you learn about the European School of Banking Management and why did you choose it for your Masters?
I learned about the school online. I was looking for a Master's degree in Anti-Money Laundering to continue my studies (she has a Master's degree in Social Research for Internal and External Security from the University of Perugia, ed.) and to provide me with the foundation for entering the workforce, in a sector that requires a high level of professionalism. The European School of Banking Management had what I was looking for, and much more. In fact, after starting the Master's degree in Anti-Money Laundering, I also chose to pursue the MBA in Banking, to deepen my knowledge of economics and banking and round out my educational background.
Did the Masters influence your professional career?
I've been working for MoneyGram for about six months, so it's still too early to assess the impact of the Master's program on my career path, just as it's still too early to fully leverage all the training I've received. However, I can confidently say that my learning experience with the Master's program at the European School of Banking Management has given me the mindset that the job market, especially multinationals, demands. Thanks in part to this, I was able to earn my first, albeit small, Specialist of the Month award.
How do you rate the work of the educational organization and the quality of the teachers?
My overall assessment is extremely positive. First of all, thanks to the blended learning approach, I was able to balance both work and studies, with the option of attending classes in person on weekends and e-learning during the rest of the week. Furthermore, the instructors are all professionals with direct working experience, capable of transforming complex theories into practical, career-relevant concepts.
Would you recommend the European School of Banking Management?
I would definitely recommend the European School of Banking Management for its professionalism, the quality of its training programs and teaching staff, its flexibility, and its ability to adequately meet training needs.
