Tax crimes in light of the changes to the criminal justice system introduced by the 2020 tax decree and the new reporting requirements for cross-border transactions introduced by the recent DAC6. This topic was the focus of Emiliano Marvulli's lecture for the 4th module of the 23rd edition of the Anti-Money Laundering Diploma, held in Bari. Attention was also given to the complex rules of tax monitoring in terms of reporting and declaration obligations, the investigative powers of the tax authorities for foreign transactions, and the FATCA and CRS regulations, with examples of intermediaries' tax due diligence. The lessons, already held in e-learning mode on the School's platform, have since yesterday been supplemented with live streaming, allowing interaction between the teacher and the entire class. "This way," explains the School's director, Sergio Silvestri, "we are resuming the classroom activities suspended since early March due to the coronavirus emergency."
