Personal data collected and purposes of collection and processing.

The data collected will be processed according to the following principles: lawfulness, fairness, and transparency; purpose limitation; data minimization; accuracy; retention time limitation, where possible; integrity and confidentiality.

Strategies Srl, owner of the brands: Strategies Business School, European School of Banking Management, Scuola Italiana Antiriciclaggio e Compliance, Kaizen School (hereinafter “Strategies” or “the School”), with registered office in Via Andrea Palladio, 9 – Barialto – Casamassima (BA), declares that it falls within the scope of application of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”), with reference to the use of personal data (hereinafter the “Data”).

Strategies Srl specifies that it does not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through its website. Specially identified data may include personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious, philosophical, or other beliefs, political opinions, membership in political parties, trade unions, associations, or organizations of a religious, philosophical, political, or trade union nature, as well as personal data revealing health and sex life, and data revealing measures pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 1, letters a) to o) and r) to u) of Presidential Decree No. 313 of November 14, 2002, regarding criminal records, the register of administrative sanctions resulting from crimes and related pending charges, or the status of defendant or suspect pursuant to Articles 60 and 61 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

We recommend that you do not provide this information through our website. If this is necessary (for example, if you belong to a protected category when submitting a resume for selection purposes), we invite you to send us your written consent to the processing of this information by letter.

  1. Types of information we collect 

We may collect the following types of personal data about you:

  • your name and contact information, such as your address, email address, and telephone number, as well as your date of birth, tax code, and passport or identity card number, country of residence and nationality, as well as your bank details (for payments of invoices issued by us) or data relating to the companies or firms you work for;
  • Information relating to your education, work history and personal professional profile, role within the company, and other professional-related information. We will also retain documentation of evaluations of previous interactions with the School and feedback related to your role at the company, for the duration of the relationship between the company and the School;
  • We will also keep records of your interactions with the School and your preferences;
  1. Technical and statistical cookies aggregated.

Strategies uses cookies to make the website easier to use and provide a better browsing experience. Cookies can also be used to compile anonymous aggregate statistics that allow us to understand how people navigate the sites and to improve their structure and content through the use of analytics software such as Google Analytics.   1. Method of treatment 

Personal data is collected and processed both in paper format and electronically using electronic and computerized means. In the latter case, automated tools will be used. The data collected, in relation to the purposes pursued by the Data Controller, will be retained exclusively for the period of time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are adopted to prevent data breaches, illicit or improper use, and unauthorized access.

  1. Purpose and processing of data 

The user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the mailing list subscription form. The legal basis for the processing is consent. Providing personal data is necessary to receive information about Strategies' activities and invitations to organized events.

As an individual, employee, or representative of certain companies, your image and information relating to the Masters/Courses you have attended, generated by the School in the course of its activities or in its relations with you, will be processed, including by electronic or automated means. The data will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. a) for the supply of goods and services; to provide information relating to services similar to those initially requested, institutional communications, and retargeting purposes;
  2. b) to respond to your specific requests and use the requested services;
  3. c) to manage academic and training initiatives with the School's partner companies, including job placement activities, internships, and any other related training activities;
  4. d) for the provision of research services, including research activities and training products;
  5. e) to support the School's activities;
  6. f) with your consent, for the dissemination of periodic publications, such as the Antiriciclaggio News newsletter, including commercial initiatives supporting the School's activities in any way, both in paper and electronic format, to the email address you provide; other editorial/digital/paper activities for communication/promotion purposes of the School that require the use of images created within the Course/Master's locations, which may consist of publication on social networks.
  7. g) for security and internal organization reasons. Furthermore, for the same reasons, the collected data may be used for statistical and research purposes in anonymous and aggregate form;
  8. h) to comply with contractual and legal obligations. Please also note that the School may transmit certain data to other organizations if necessary for the detection or prevention of crimes or if required by law.
  9. i) you will be asked periodically to update/confirm your data, in order to avoid their obsolescence.
  1. Data circulation and communication 

School staff, teachers, and individuals required by law or otherwise collaborating with the School who need access to the Data to perform their duties may access the Data, as well as other individuals providing services to whom the School has specifically assigned the role of data controller or qualified contact for the processing of such individuals' Data, in relation to their duties, who have access to the relevant Data. Access to the Data is always connected to the purposes indicated above.

Furthermore, the interested party's data may also be communicated to national and international public bodies, such as ministries and public administration offices.

  1. Data Granting 

The following data is not subject to your consent: data processed for security and internal organization purposes; data for the use of available academic goods and services; institutional data processing tasks of the School, as well as for carrying out activities and communications relating to products and services in which the data subject has expressed particular interest; data processing for compliance with legal obligations. The data processed with your consent may not be necessary, but it will be important for us to provide certain services in your interest. The data you provide will be stored on servers located in the European Economic Area.

  1. The basis for processing your information and how we use it 

We may process your personal data because:

  • it is necessary for us to interact with you and handle any concerns or feedback you may have;
  • it is necessary for any other purpose for which you provide your personal data to us;
  • it is necessary for us or for the legitimate interests of third parties, including security and internal organizational measures and institutional communications;

Data subjects have the following rights (Chapter III of the GDPR):

  • right to request that we correct the personal data we hold about you if it is incorrect;
  • right to be forgotten (i.e. request the deletion of personal data);
  • right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority;
  • right to appeal to the judicial authority;
  • the right to request that we restrict our Data processing activities (and, if our processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent, without affecting the lawfulness of our processing based on your consent before its withdrawal);
  • right to access, i.e. to receive from us the personal data we hold and which have been provided to us, in a reasonable format specified, including the purpose of transmission to another data controller;
  • right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to any of our particular processing activities if you feel that this has a disproportionate impact on your rights;
  • right to data portability;
  • right to object to data processing.
