The 2017 Refresher Course “The Evolution of the Regulatory Context of Governance and Risk Management in Cooperative Banks” was held on Friday 16 June , organised by the European School of Banking Management.

Edoardo Faletti , Head of Risk Strategy & Capital Adequacy at BPM, spoke in depth about the Italian and European regulatory landscape, illustrating the regulator's new tools, namely regulatory stress tests. The day also included discussions on the risk control function, the role of the risk committee, and risk appetite.

The course was attended by general managers, heads, and anti-money laundering and risk management personnel from the Cooperative Credit Banks belonging to the Sicilian Federation of BCCs, who received all the operational tools for risk management.
