MICHELE ALBANESE IS A "POSITIVE MODEL FOR ALL SUBJECTS TO ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING OBLIGATIONS." HIGH RECOGNITION IN ROME TODAY
The Scientific Committees of the European School of Banking Management and the Italian School of Anti-Money Laundering today in Rome awarded the "Best in AML Training 2019" Award to Banca Monte Pruno's General Manager, Michele Albanese. "For having devoted great attention to the topic of specialized training in anti-money laundering and for being a positive role model for all those subject to anti-money laundering obligations" was the citation for this award.
Each year, the European School of Banking Management and the Italian School of Anti-Money Laundering award this prize to organizations that have committed human and financial resources to specialized training in Anti-Money Laundering, thus contributing not only to the growth of Anti-Money Laundering skills within their own company but also indirectly to combating money laundering, the main source of terrorist financing.
Banca Monte Pruno, with General Manager Michele Albanese, Vice President Antonio Ciniello, and Deputy General Manager Cono Federico, participated in the inauguration of the new academic year, which coincided with the graduation ceremony for the Anti-Money Laundering Master's Degree. During this event, other awards were also given to some of the cooperative credit institution's employees: Fiorella Della Guardia, Anti-Money Laundering Officer, Maria De Divitiis, Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, and Annarita Carucci, Compliance Officer, who participated in the training program and received the Master's Degree Diploma and official certification of their acquired skills. Furthermore, for the planning and programming work carried out, the Head of Organization and Human Resources of Banca Monte Pruno, Francesca Sessa, was awarded the Best HR Planning 2019 Award. The day, in addition to the aspect relating to the contributions, allowed Banca Monte Pruno to participate in an interesting training session on "The main innovations of the transposition of the V EU Directive - The implications for the subjects addressed by the obligations", which was attended by professionals in the sector, representatives of the Revenue Agency and the Guardia di Finanza. On the sidelines of the event, the company's top executives emphasized the significance of this recognition, warmly congratulating the staff who distinguished themselves in a challenging and highly qualified training program. This represents, in any case, an overall qualitative improvement for the company thanks to the acquisition of new specialized skills. These skills can be transferred to the rest of the organization through a training program that aims to exchange information and knowledge within the institution, as Banca Monte Pruno has done in the past. Banca Monte Pruno thus reaffirms its strong focus on the training and development of its staff.
